WAMA students took part in the Welsh Championships which were held at the Martial Art Centre of Excellence, Cardiff.

Results are as follows:

Jamie-Lee Cummings who attends Bryn Hafren Comprehensive School Barry, took 1st Place in Semi Contact and 2nd Place in Light Contact.

Kyron Caddick who attends Rhoose Primary School took 1st Place in Semi Contact.

Lewis Cummings 1st Place who attends Barry Boys Comprehensive School, Barry took 1st Place in Semi Contact.

Scott Goddard who attends Stanwell Comprehensive School, Penarth took 1st Place in Semi-Contact.

Kiya Glanville who attends Cadoxton Primary School took 3rd place in Semi-Contact and Light Contact.

Hannah Harvey who attends High Street Primary School, Barry took 2nd Place in Light Contact Section.

Jordon Williams who attends Holton Road Primary School, Barry took 3rd Place in Semi- Contact but narrowly missed taking 1st place by one point. Jordan has recently returned after a long break from training as was outstanding on the day.

Owain Cadman who attends Romilly Junior School, Barry, took 3rd place in the Semi Contact Section. This was Owains very first tournament and he did the Academy proud.

Little Ninja Aaron Scogin who attends Sully Primary School, Sully took 3rd place in the Semi Contact Section. Little Ninja Aaron who trains in the Kids Zone at the centre was outstanding on the day especially being his very first tournament.

Last but not least, one of the instructors Jason Griffiths took 1st Place in the Semi-Contact Section.
