We are a Karate and Kickboxing Association coaching FREESTYLE KARATE and KICKBOXING, and instructors of various other styles of martial arts including Muay Thai. We have recently introduced a Weapon Training program with our main Weapons co-ordinator Mr. Jason Griffiths (Elite Martial Arts) Martial Art Centre of Excellence, Cardiff.

Freeform (Kata) is available if you wish to learn. Although qualified as traditional karate instructors,

 we do not teach TRADITIONAL STYLE KARATE as in our experience it isn`t a style sought after anymore, as most newcomers enquiring about martial art lessons wish to learn the art of Kickboxing which of course is Karate based, but taught in a modern way.

 We first studied Karate with Mr. Clifton Brown of the Welsh Contact Karate Association which was then affiliated to the WKF now known as the Welsh Karate Governing Body, therefore, having trained in an authentic background from which we achieved Black Belt Status in Contact Karate.

During the following years we studied with Cardiff born Mr. David Mitchell, who is a world renowned authority on martial arts, and has written many books on traditional karate and other styles, he also taught many other disciplines other than Traditional Karate. David was the founder of the Martial Arts Commission MAC in Wales, now known as the Welsh Karate Governing Body.

Having trained in traditional karate, freestyle karate, contact karate and muay thai, we are well qualified to coach varied styles including traditional karate as well as freestyle karate and again kickboxing which allows students to enter all sorts of additional tournaments and shows.

We have produced many World Champions and Gold Medalists throughout our teaching, together with Silver and Bronze Medalists. Welsh Title Holders, British Title Holders and World Title Holders in Full Contact Kickboxing, Light Contact Kickboxing and Semi-Contact Karate.

The World Karate and Kickboxing Association is a world renowned association, and was one of the first World Organisations to be formed for Karate AND Kickboxing and we represent the WKA for Wales.

Back in the year 2000 we attended the WKA World Championships in Vienna, Austria where we met many movie stars who are part of the WKA. We had a fantastic time, we stayed in the same hotel as them. "Don the Dragon Wilson" was an absolute gentleman and spent some time speaking with us about the WKA and his movie career. Another star was Cynthia Rothrock who again was very pleasant and took time to meet some our competitiors. Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, what a character, full of life, he was an absolute gem. A fantastic time was had by all.

If you wish to train with us you will be trained by qualified martial art experts, who are qualified to teach many different disciplines, and therefore, offering YOU various styles of martial arts, which will allow you to enter all types of tournaments including open competitions WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL DISCIPLINES, and also remembering we also run disciplines for those who are disabled.
