Hannah Harvey WKA Silver Medalist

WKA SILVER MEDAL FOR HANNAH HARVEY

Hannah Harvey who is a student of Martial Art Centre of Excellence, Cardiff represented Wales in the recent WKA World Championships which was held in Germany last month and returned with the silver medal. Hannah who lives in Barry is a pupil of High Street Primary School in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan.

Hannah returned from Germany triumphantly after reaching second best in the world. Last year Hannah returned with the Bronze medal and is now destined to hopefully take the Gold next year in America where the next World Championships are being held.

Hannah had to travel to Germany with the rest of Team Wales without her Instructor Lynne Tolcher-James. Lynne had an accident in April which had prevented her from travelling and was unable to attend both world championships this year.

Hannah has now graduated to the Martial Arts Centre Of Excellence, Cowbridge Road West, in Cardiff which is not a martial art club, but a centre of excellence and a centre coaching students to Olympic and Commonwealth standard, which is situated, at 372 Cowbridge Road West, Cardiff, just 10 minutes from Barry, and 2 minutes from Culverhouse Cross, and 5 minutes from Junction 33 off the M4 motorway.
