WUMA 6ft Series Winners

WUMA 6FT SERIES WINNERS 2007

WKKA Students dominate the WUMA 6ft Series Finals for 2007. Students who live in all parts of the Glamorgan took the WUMA 6ft Series by storm taking no less than five 1st Places to end 2007 with a BANG.

6 Students who train at The Martial Art Centre of Excellence based in Cowbridge Road West, Cardiff were invited to take part in this event as they were ahead on points during 2007, and travelled to Worcester to take up the challenge of the main martial art event of the year.

First up to face the challenge was young Kyron Caddick, storming his way through his category to take 1st Place.

Next up to fight was Jamie-Lee Cummings again another challenge for Jamie-Lee taking 1st Place

To follow was her brother Lewis Cummings, who dominated his category to take 1st Place

Next up was Scott Goddard who unfortunately, lost his category who took 2nd place.

Lewis Goold was the next competitor again dominating his category to take 1st Place.

Last up to fight was Joshua Griffiths, winner of his category and taking yet another 1st Place 6ft Trophy.

A new breed of martial arts has now opened its doors to the whole of South Wales offering professional coaching to Olympic and commonwealth standard. All the students above have been promoted to this association together with others from various clubs within South Wales. The doors are also open to all newcomers who have not as yet trained in a martial art, or who are fed up with their old style and want to venture into something new. The centre offers various disciplines and are so respected that the centre and the instructors have been featured in the famous martial art magazine Combat.
